HOW OFTEN WILL MY CHILD HAVE THERAPY?Therapy frequency depends on several factors, including your child’s diagnosis, the therapist’s recommendations, your family’s preferences, schedule availability, etc. Once an evaluation is completed, the therapist will discuss the results of the evaluation and share their recommendations with you. They will also ask you what your preferences are and what is feasible for your family’s schedule. Therapy frequency may not always be the same for every child - we do not follow a one size fits all model. Therapy can be more or less frequent depending on what works best for your child. Some examples of therapy schedules include: weekly, bi-monthly and monthly. IGNITE is also available for consultative services on an as-needed basis. Pricing available upon request.

WHERE DOES THERAPY TAKE PLACE?IGNITE's office is located at 110 Javit Ct., Youngstown, OH, 44515. We have found that children and their families report difficulty making progress outside of a structured therapy environment. That is because while structure and routine are good, they do not always help you in the real world. IGNITE takes a flexible approach by creating opportunities for families to practice new strategies in their everyday lives. This is why IGNITE asks families to bring their child's favorite toys and activities to their appointment. Adults involved in a child’s care can learn how to implement strategies they learn into their everyday routines, so it lessens the burden and time required to help their child succeed. This step-by-step approach empowers you and your child to become adaptable and resilient when you encounter new people and places.

DO YOU OFFER VIRTUAL THERAPY?Yes! Virtual therapy aka “teletherapy” is available throughout all of Ohio and Pennsylvania!

DOES IGNITE ACCEPT INSURANCE?IGNITE is set up as an out-of-network provider, and therefore does not accept insurance. There are many benefits to private-pay services: 1) No waitlist = immediate help 2) No surprise bills = clear, predictable expenses 3) No coverage maximums = no forced therapy breaks 4) No visit limits = unlimited sessions We work directly with your family to create a treatment plan that is best for your child’s needs, which gives us the flexibility to make adjustments at any time. Some insurance companies will reimburse you for the cost of therapy services through your HSA or FSA account. You can request a “Super Bill'' to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement of therapy costs. If you do not have an HSA/FSA, your insurance provider may still count the cost of therapy toward your annual deductible. We encourage you to call the number on the back of your insurance card to see what your benefits are for out-of-network speech therapy.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES IGNITE ACCEPT?IGNITE accepts credit or debit card payments via Square, a secure, HIPAA-compliant payment system embedded into our website. Once you SCHEDULE an appointment, you will be directed to submit your payment on the website. All services are prepaid one week in advance.

DO YOU OFFER GROUP THERAPY?Group therapy may be available for speech/language and feeding services. Groups will be scheduled based on schedule availability and sufficient interest.

WILL IGNITE BE IN CONTACT WITH MY CHILD’S DOCTOR?Yes! If you would like IGNITE to collaborate with other professionals who work with your child, we are happy to do so as this ensures everyone is on the same page! When you sign up for an evaluation or treatment, you will have the opportunity to sign a consent form that gives IGNITE permission to talk to and share notes with your child’s pediatrician, teachers and any other providers you choose.
